I took a look around at our home recently and was like....okay did we ever actually move in or are we just visiting? It is as is we moved the girls in and then kinda threw things here and there...and frankly on some days I get this HOARDERS type feeling and go through this mad rage of going through things and getting rid of crud...today was one of those days.
Sooooo..to rectify this situation I started looking on the internet, when in doubt I research, its an obsession of mine. And I discovered thrift stores and GoodWill...how does one "discover" stores that have been 3-4 blocks from your house your entire life? Well in myy case I just never to quote Rafiki from the Lion King..."Look beyond what you see"...a scratched up shelf painted to look like the fires of hell inside the shelves? Instead of inside some vampire wanna bee's lair, can become a black shelf and house my daughters nick nacks...though I did want to sprinkle it with holy water before sitting it in her room.
Point is, that SLOWLY but surely, gradually I am cleaning out my home, and taking it from "OH MY GOD KEEP THEM ON THE PORCH" to "Please come in and check out my upstairs bathroom" okay maybe not that far as I still use that bathroom to house dirty laundry when I havent had time to finish it all but I'm getting closer to it lol.
